How We Do It

The basic structure for creating the illustrations and visuals is as follows.

1. Brief

This can be supplied verbally or by email. Written briefs are usually better.

2. Modelling

Using any reference material and information gathered, we begin creating your wireframe model(s). We can send test renderings for you to approve or amend. We can also import 3D models you currently have.

3. Texturing / lighting

Once the model is agreed, we begin applying texture maps (this could be graphics, colour, texture etc.). Once textured, we begin lighting the scene.

4. Testing / amendments

As the image develops we send you test renderings. Again this is for you to approve or amend any part of your image.

5. Final render

Once we are agreed on the final look, size, resolution and format, we can begin rendering the image out on our render farm. The final image is then layered up in photoshop and prepared for final output. The image(s) can be sent via email, ftp or CD.
