This CAD to CGI project demonstrates how engineering data can be transformed into photoreal product visualisation for marketing, e-commerce and product launch applications. Using existing CAD files as the foundation, the product was recreated as a high-quality CGI asset with realistic materials, controlled lighting and premium studio presentation. Engineering CAD files are designed for manufacturing, not marketing. Although CAD provides accurate product geometry, it does not automatically contain the materials, lighting, camera composition and visual styling required for commercial imagery. The challenge was to transform technical product data into compelling marketing visuals while maintaining complete accuracy to the original design. Using a CAD-to-CGI workflow, the supplied product data was prepared and optimised for photoreal rendering.
